IMPORTANT NOTES FROM JUSTIN:
I'm running a special sale on my CD for readers of my online diary. Check it out here.
And now, on with the show...
Saying the Right Thing
Here we see the remains of a gerbil fetus. The mother has eaten most of the little guy's head. Read more about this fetus here.
Some friends just know how to say the right things. You know which people they are. They're the ones who somehow always make you gooey or giddy or giggly. They roll a handful of words towards you like a few marbles on the floor and you're toppled over like a giant.
Everyone has their
thing—that is, the specific wind that blows them down. Different words, different phrases, different drawls of air, inflections. For me, the equation is always the same. Talk about doing something fun to a fetus—or a bunny, puppy, or kitten, for that matter—and I just about explode.
Explode. Just having the words
fetus and
explode in the same paragraph paints a smile on my face.
