Outside Amarillo: Stanley Marsh's legs sculpture is inspired by the poem Ozymandias
Don't just stare at my crotch. Since you're looking, behold the glory of my new belt buckle. It reads "THE STATE OF TEXAS." Only $7 at Cavender's Boot City in Amarillo.
All ponies must fight me. Pony soldiers are no exception. But, when I arrived here in Tucumcari, NM there weren't any ponies to fight. There was, however, a deserted hotel parking lot complete with a discarded fire extinguisher. And, of course, a huge and awesome sign.
Don't be afraid to take shade under the huge sombrero in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Special contest: Photoshop in some offensive text into the word bubble painted below the hat. Email your work to me for a prize. Click here to get the JPEG so you can get started.
More Tucumcari.
A defunct train station in Tucumcari. (Which, by the way, is pronounced TWO-COME-CARRY.)
As if it wasn't obvious enough.
